Hey girlies, my long time pal Jessi recently started a beauty vlog. If you know her already, you know she is darling as can be, and you know what a doll she is...and that she always looks amazing.

Beth Leintz' Freestyle Embroidery Sampler

The other day that sweet Beth Leintz emailed with a photo of her cheery and sweet embroidery sampler:

 

Don't you love the colors? I love how she stitched "count your blessing" and I love her flowers, too.

Her sampler is featured in the current issue of Stampington's Art Quilting Studio! In her article she mentioned that she took my Freestyle Embroidery E-Workshop ... loved it...made the sampler...keeps stitching...and got her Workshop Sampler published. Soooo great to hear! Congrats Beth!

And to those of you out there who have recently read the article or Beth's Blog and got inspired to take the E-Workshop, thank you!

Fun at The Art Mill

The other day my daughter and I had a play date at The Art Mill. Just girl time, you know!

We took Jane's workshop on Image Transfers and Abstract Art. I've been wanting to take her class on this for months and finally did it! She cured all my years of mishaps with image transferring in a matter of minutes! Thank you Jane! Such a talented lady...

Can you believe that's an image transfer? The text is at least 4x6". Such great results. Here's her finished piece:

Such different styles, right? She stuck on the abstract path....I didn't. I wasn't comfy with abstract work so I stuck within my comfort zone. Plus I ran out of time and finished it up at home. Notice the big legs-little body. Hee Hee.

Mr. Nannynannyboobooo is an image transfer...he turned out great didn't he.

We had a great time out together, exploring new territories together. I was so glad she enjoyed herself because I sure did! Thanks again, Jane!

 

Miraculous Mary Montage

Last Summer I signed up for one of many many Silver Bella Swaps: The Miraculous Mary Montage Swap hosted by ever sweet Gina Grable. I've kept the 13 pieces wrapped since they were given to me back in mid November...waiting for the perfect time to appreciate them.

Recently, the time was right, and I took a few quiet moments to unwrap these beautiful pieces of art from Silver Bella. Seeing her face bring such a sense of calmness, hope and love.

If you are a blog hopper, you may have already seen these, but I thought that today would be a great day to show them to you (so just relive it)!

Looking at all the images of The Blessed Virgin Mary take my breath away. Of course, they all look so much better in person, but it's not stopping me from sharing them here! We were to use one of our favorite images of Mary and embellish it. I love seeing everyone's creations.

Sundays are cutedays

We are getting in the move out/move mode here! Daughter leaves for school this week. Take a peek at this pile of cute.

It's her dorm room bedding. So colorful and so her! The adorable pillowcase and lil black floral print pillow was a very thoughtful gift from our friend Jemellia. She offered to make them and let me pick out the fabrics from what she had in mind...and I said yes to all of them. Such a generous labor of love. Here is her etsy shop.  Jemellia, you are a peach!! Allie loves it!

Black and white polka dot sheets and hot pink damask comforter are fun together but the handmade accents make it all come together so well. Thank you Jemellia, for making us smile!

While taking pictures to show you, we gathered the bedding and were clicking away. Someone's pet saw the photoshoot and had to be front and center.

  She strongly feels that she is the perfect bedding accessory. Love love!
