Hello hullo! I thought it'd be fun to switch things up a bit here and create and share some lists of some of my favorite things. SO for the next 7 days I'll be sharing doing just that. A different list for every day.
I'm hoping to get a list of favs up every day...I've been busy putting together a new E-Workshop (yay!) but I'm still hoping to share one list a day. Let's do this!
First up is favorite recipes. I'm forever on the hunt for new recipes to try. Aren't we all? So sharing some that we've enjoyed lately might help you when you need to get into the kitchen and want to mix things up.
First up...
Saucy Chipotle Pork Stuffed Potatoes
Doesn't that look so yummy? Comfort food for sure. My family and I agree...this was really delicious. There are 5 of us, and we have enough for a second meal (sandwiches)...so it makes a lot. You make it in the crockpot. The aroma from the kitchen all afternoon are a sign to my fam that something tasty is coming! I love to make their mouths water...hee hee. I served it up with corn on the cob, sliced fresh tomatoes and watermelon. Find the recipe (and other good recipes) here: Saucy Chipotle Pork Stuffed Baked Potatoes
Second Recipe to share:
Nachos Supreme
This was so tasty. I highly recommend. The meat sauce is also done in the crockpot. Here's the link to the recipe: Nachos Supreme.
This next recipe is so Summery, Fresh and Light:
Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salsa
We've been really enjoying grilled salmon this Summer. Only trouble is my daughter is not a fan of fish of any kind, so we make it when she isn't around. The boys love it! Here's the link: Grilled Salmon with Avacado Salsa.
Let's finish up with something sweet. Here's the third recipe favorite:
New York Times 40 Hour Chocolate Chip Cookies
Now hold on, these aren't your typical cookies. These are the cookies you bake when you want to impress...say your daughter's boyfriend or something. Plan ahead, because the dough needs to rest in the refrigerator for 40 hours. Totally worth the wait though. Here's the link to these tasties: New York Times 40 Hour Chocolate Chip Cookies.
That's all for today! Tomorrow I'll have a new list of favorites.
