It's Christmas break around here. Which I am loving! So great to have everyone in the house! I love spending the holidays together to celebrate the season and enjoy time with each other!
This year I have a list of things I hope to do as a family during Christmas break. With a house full of teens and tweens, I'll be lucky if I'm able to check off half of these. I think it's worth a try:
- Bake and decorate cookies. Messy fun.
- Watch Christmas movies and munch popcorn...all of us...in the same room. All cell phones dropped in a box at the living room door.
- Drive around town and take in the sights and lights. Love doing this.
- Play Mario Card Wii. We have enough four controllers, so one can cheer on the other four players.
- Play Phase 10. Again, all cell phones tucked in a box in another room.
- Attend Mass together. All of us.
- Make a meal, any meal...together. We each do a part. I could be getting greedy with that wish, but it's worth a shot.
See, it's not a huge list, but I think it's doable! I'm not asking too much. Crossing my fingers!
Oh, this made me laugh - I have a tween and the rest are in their 20's... I'm just glad to have them all home for Christmas this year! I will add a few of yours to my list... we'll see how that works out! Merry Christmas to you and your family! Jamie V in MT

This is a wonderful list, Teresa...love the "leave the cell phones at the door," especially for me!
Merry Christmas!
