Three random things

See my new specs? There are 3 rows of pearls on the sides, and then the rest is black. So chic I am...ha ha.

 

Oh this sweet pea...still love her to pieces. 

 

She loves to have shoe parties. Many times I've come home to find shoes all over the place. Tiny nibbles taken on several of them. ARGH! I know what you are thinking....put the shoes away you silly people. I hear you. We are all learning the hard way on that one.

She also loves to read. Oh yes! Lilly must be a very smart puppy by now when you see all the magazines and books she's nibbled on. There is a basket bin thing full of them in our family room and she has reading time every day. I know what you are thinking on this one too....put them out of her reach, right? 

Lastly, a pretty pound cake fresh out of the oven. I long to bake and bake and bake. Is that bad? 

 

 

It's been so hot and humid I hate to heat up the kitchen even more....but this Fall....look out family. I'm going to go cake crazy on you.
