Cut It Paste It Sew It

I love to wander through new books, how about you? Finding this on my door step this week was a delight!

When I get a new book, I love to sit back in natural light, latte in hand, and flip the pages...soaking it all in. I also love the smell of the ink and paper. Please say I'm not the only one. :)

This new book is a fresh perspective on collage and mixed media. LOVE that!! It's high time isn't it? Several Asian artists are interviewed in this book. Their take on this art that is so dear to me was so refreshing.

Fun stuff, right? Anyway, I was very inspired and I know I will refer to this book again and again. Oh, bonus: several fold out pages in the back to launch cut and paste into your own collages.

Thanks for sharing this book! I just popped over to Amazon and put it in my cart! I can't get enough of collage and mixed media art lately. This book looks like it has a fresh twist on the topic.
I love to have a cup of hot tea and a shortbread cookie (or 3!) when I peruse a new book!

I think I need this book! It looks like a super one for browsing! Have you seen "The Gentle Art of Domesticity"? I have had it for about a year and still loved to look at it. That makes my husband laugh;-)
