There's a puppy hiding between the sofa pillows...
The storms the past few nights have kept her up and she's taking extra naps in the day time. Wait...is that her or me?
The E-Course was hiding but you can seek it now! I am happy to say The Between the Lines Art Journaling E-Course is now on the website! Click here for the Quick Link. Sorry I didn't have it up yesterday. Glad to be having so much interest already...thanks so much. Truly!
I have an odd question about the e-course. I will be traveling to my parents (my mom is having surgry) but I want to take your course. I thing it is something that will get me off the hump and take that first step to learning how to art journal (something that is on my craft bucket list). Do you think it would be fessible to do this while away from home? I will have access to a computer and printer while away. Any opinion is welcome and suggestions about how I might go about this adventure. (PS I have my journal already ;)

Hi Laura,
Your idea of journaling on your trip sounds perfect actually! Just bring all of your supplies with you. I can't imagine a better "creative and personal release or getaway" than an art journal. I'm sure your creativity will be heightened by just traveling and being in a different environment, too!!

I have another question, how much pattern paper and extra dodads do we need? Also how many different paint colors do we need? trying to figure out how much to pack in my travel kit. Thanks Laura D

Hi Laura,
You should plan to bring scraps of your favorite patterned papers. Bring enough to be able to add to at least 12-15 two sides pages in your journal. They will be used as embellishments and not to cover the pages completely, so keep that in mind! "doo-dads" will be fun to add to your pages, too, but limit yourself to the flatter ones like rub ons, ribbons, etc.
I've also added tracing paper and carbon paper to the list of supplies. If you don't have any on hand, you can certainly try the techniques presented with them later!
