This weekend I went down my list of "want to do somedays" and picked a simple project: embroider on a pair of tennies. I did bright, playful colors for Spring. Yay!
I only stitched on the right shoe. Is that bad? I should probably do the left shoe, too. These navy gingham Converse shoes are really inexpensive at Target right now. Several great solid colors, too.
I wouldn't say it was easy...and my fingers hurt, so I did a little at a time. If I had a little girl, I would be stitching on a pair of Keds or Converse for her for Spring and Summer.
You could also stitch on a pair of the fabulous Tom's Shoes. Wouldn't that be great?
P.S. The list of teachers for Silver Bella 2010 is up over here!
These are simply adorable!! Great idea . . . thanks!

How clever:) So cute! I think you should just leave it on one shoe. It's more interesting that way. Happy Easter!
