Eeks, I'm sorta nervous about my Free Style Embroidery E-Zine which begins tomorrow! Here's a peek at what we are doing on the first day.
I used to do half hour TV local craft shows here every week. Did I ever tell you that? Anyways, it's all coming back to me slowly...sorta like riding a bike I guess! Maybe at the end of this E-Zine I'll show some of the bloopers...hee hee! They'd be worth every penny I guarantee it!
Anyway, the sampler is adorable already, and I'm having a blast. Can't wait for the subscribers to see it all!
u may be nervous, but i am so excited ;}

What did you use to dye your linen? I couldn't hear what you said as there were three little people having a rowdy breakfast here.

Hi Jeanelle!
I dyed the linen you are seeing with cherry Kool-Aid! A single serving sized packet in about a half a cup of water. I also did some lace and will show it soon! :)

Awwwww Your tutorial was so cute. You are so cute! I just caught up with the new Embroidery E-zine today, watching the tutorials was a kodak moment with my 12 year old (stitching) daughter. Thanks for not only adding value to my art world, but that in a 12 yr old who lives in such a techno and busy culture these days. Invaluable handiwork of life appreciated here, and encouragment for a Mother/daughter! Getting started right now........

I love your stitching! I'd also just love to see what the backs of everything looks like...I am new to this and while sometimes the front looks good, I am embarrassed when I look at the mess I've made finishing things off on the back...
