The Spring Sampler for my current Free Style Embroidery E-Zine is coming along nicely! I had a big surge of inspiration Saturday...love that.
The Saturday morning stitching extended long into the afternoon, as we sat watching my daughter's GPAC Indoor Track Conference meet. I stitched in between her runs...right there on the bleachers in front of God and everybody. Hubby says several gals peeked at my stitching while they walked by with a smile. Some had a look on their face like, "Why didn't I bring something fun to work on, too?"
It's great watching her team run. Such a big difference between High School and College meets. Still getting used to that.
She ran a great 800. So proud of her. Hope you had a good weekend, too!
yes, woohoo...my mom & i are enjoying the stitching surprises of your e-zine embroidery spring sampler... big fun, mother & daughter together, and the bonus of techniques that will translate into scarves & tissue cozies, etc...thanks so much for sharing your style teresa and breaking the anxiety barrier of embroidery! ;)

Oh my I happened upon your wonderful blog and find we have a lot in common right down to our daughters! My daughter Stephanie had a very successful H.S. and college (Bucknell Univ-Lewisburg Pa)track career and she too ran the 400,500&800m races and several relays. I sure miss those days so enjoy every lap...they go by way to fast! :)

Hi Teresa,
Truly enjoying my beginnings with my e-zine embroidery spring sampler. It's a great way to escape the pain in my get-a-long, even if I make a few mistakes. I've been using my mother's collection of threads I rec'd after she passed. It's great for me and I'm delighted to have found your e-zine project to get me through hard days.
Planning on using a few coupons to add to my collection. Very easy on a budget, indeed.
Thanks much,
Warmly,
Karla
