but I just have to say it because it must be said. Firstly, I have been working hard to beat my son's Wii Fit scores, and today I finally did. Swweeet victory is MINE!
I scored 128% on the fitness run this morning (thank you, thank you, thankyouverymuch). Bonus...I didn't even try that hard. Shhh....
I can now be at peace with myself and family, knowing that I can beat someone and something with that crazy game. Can I have at least one moment of glory in this house, just one?
So the plot thickens and twists now. For you see, this guy has moved on. He's entered a new dimension and it's killing me. A few months ago he started doing card tricks. And, well, like anyone with an ounce of dedication--he's gotten pretty good.
So now he taunts me with his tricks. He taunts all of us. It's really getting on my nerves because I can't figure them out.
Seriously. I have developed a keen eye when he shows me his latest trick, but I just can't figure some of them out. He even makes up his own tricks now.
So, if his teenage boy antics aren't enough to bare, now he throws mystifying card tricks into the mix.
But today....yes, let's get back to my 128%, yeah the top space on the high score ladder....yeah that. That felt great! Not actually...I met muscles I hadn't seen in years. Still, I was victorious (until those cards came out)!
Oh how I hate to tell you... it only gets harder! But, there is sweet revenge. Some day he too will have children who will whip his booty & you can laugh & watch! SWEET! Until then, score when you can & hide & watch. Theres' light at the end of a tunnel & IT IS A TRAIN! :)

I don't know much about card tricks but those cards are beautiful. The black and white graphic is great and would look fun in a craft project.

My son loves card tricks (and coming up with new ones of his own) also! They drive me crazy...if there is one thing that I really dislike, it is magic. I just don't get it and it makes me feel stoopid!

Card tricks? LOL. I wonder if you are still at the top of the ladder or if you've been toppled. It must feel pretty astonishing to be at the top scorer on ANY gaming system. Bask in the glory:)
