Just a couple more days. I'm sure ready, how about you? And Spring officially begins any minute now, right? I sure do like the sound of that.
Yeah so, I recently picked up this old crock (at a local store here) and love it so much. The flowers in the crock are quite temporary. Needed something outside our doorstep until it's safe to put real flowers out there. Smith & Hawkins ala Target to the rescue with these posies. Why I thought it'd be good to put lil marble pastel eggs in that pot--I have no idea. Looks dorky to me now. Well, they aren't in there anymore.
I like to think I'll be posting again before the weekend, but just in case I don't, I wanted to wish everyone a very blessed and Happy Easter weekend. My little guy is on Easter break soon so I will be doing some things with him the next few days. I look forward to that, I sure do. Track meets are beginning, last minute Easter details need to be taken care of...and so on.
I am counting my blessings early. My Grandpa is coming out of a quadruple bypass surgery as I type this. He's 89 years old and the doctors tell him he'll be back to golfing in May. Crossing my fingers on that note-we all are. It's been a trying week around here. A trying 40 days, too. As it should be I suppose.
I am ready to rejoice my friends! Soon!
I wish all the best for your Grandpa. My dad had 6 arteries bypassed in August and within 6-8 weeks he was acting as if nothing ever happened. It is amazing. The first week is rough but each day gets a bit better. He will be in my thoughts and prayers. Have a Blessed and Happy Easter as well.

Sure all will go well with your grandpa. My dad had a double at 61 and is now almost 91 and things are so much easier today. Easter blessings to you and your family. I still don't have it all together, but just finished a tablecloth for the grandkid's table. It will happen!
