It's the weekend again, already?! Wow! Where did this week run off to? And it's officially June. June is a glorious month here in the midwest! Speaking of June, and days of the week, I am happy to announce the Silver Bella registration date and time:
Registration is delayed one day...we had hoped for June 1, but June 2 gives a little more time for you to decide what you want as far as Workshop selections, and it gives us another day to tweek everything to allow for easy ordering. Being that the Event is so much larger this year than last year, we had lots of adapting to do on the website. Thanks for your patience! You can read more registration details and see the workshop descriptions and photo peeks on the Silver Bella Blog: HERE.
I've got my peeks to show you...
This is Bella's Bracelet. I love it and I've been wearing my prototypes this week...tee heee!! Gotten so many compliments on it! My 16 year old even said she likes it and wants one. Or should I say she wants me to make her one! Anyway, it's so unique and teaches you so many techniques....which I always aim to do in workshop mode. So that's Bella's Bracelet. I will teach it twice on Silver Bella Weekend. My second workshop is totally exciting and different, too. There is such a range of classes this year, I almost taglined it A Women's Art Event instead of A Paper Arts Event. There are workshops using glass, clay, soldering, collage building, canvases, and of course our first love....paper arts. Don't let these mediums scare you though, we've worked carefully to be sure that all of these projects are doable and yet teach you new skillz at the same time.
That was first and foremost for the Workshops...experimenting, playing with new mediums, making something to take home and treasure. And if you don't finish during class for whatever reason, we will have an open class room to allow you to finish your project.
Here is The Miracle Under Glass, my second workshop. I'll be teaching this once during Silver Bella Weekend. So excited about this. During class time I'll share the meaningful story of how it all came about. If you are into goosebumpish stories that warm your heart and human spirit, you enjoy hearing it. Well, I think you will anyway!
We'll be collaging and learning some new collage concepts, and then soldering on the piece. You can collage a holiday themed piece or an everyday themed piece. This sample is the everyday version, because I love it and want it out to enjoy-right now!
Okay, if you haven't gone over the the Bella Blog you should hop over there now and check out all the juicy and exciting details of the big Bellabration! It's all there waiting for you! Hop over HERE!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
