So I've been going through some old photos for a project, and stumbled on these. In January we spiffed up my studio a bit and thought I'd share. We are going to make some changes again very soon. Tearing out the carpet down to the original hardwood floors for one. I am need of a little cheering up today and these photos seem to be doing the job nicely!
Holly cat is my partner in here. She loves to nestle up, when there's room for her close by that is. This room used to be Andrew's nursery. Jim painted those stripes you can sorta see on the walls. Still like them. But then again, I always wanted to be part of a circus...
Old dresser drawers are filled with....stuff ..errr...treasures. Aprons and fav. bags on the right.
The great wall of books, overflowing baskets bowls and buckets of inspiration and supplies. It's much longer, but I am not even gonna show the untidy shelves here! Silly. And if you think I'm gonna show the stacks and racks of paper and messy bins...well you gotta 'nother thing comin' ... it's ugly over there!
50's metal bread bin on my desk. Filled with, the latest treasures. Rub ons, small overlays, stickers, and mostly junk...but it's really cute junk.
The other side of the old bread bin. The jars were a fun substrate I was into. The jar baby (me!) is one of the projects in Foof a Life. The taller sealed jar has my first Paper Bella postcard inside it. There's a hidden meaning behind that one. Whole 'nother post is what that is.
Oh the top of the old bread bin. I really like that bread bin. :)
Some kitschy doo dads on my desk. You can get inspired by them when the desk is clean and you can actually see them. That stack of wire baskets is now overflowing with old flowers and ribbons.
So colorful and great to look at. Guaranteed smiles. That's what these photos are to me.Hope they make you smile a little, too.
Lastly, I hope everyone has a wonderful family filled Father's Day Weekend! Be thankful for Daddies out there that that work so hard for their families and and for those little people who made this weekend possible.
thank you for the peek into your cute little world...i love it.
& yes lots of smiles!!

I have a free/RAK for a pair of authentic pinking shears used for applique quilts (my dh's mom's) and I just want to give them to a good home to someone who'd appreciate them. If you want them/pls. come to my blog as first commenter gets them. xo

I can't believe how different it looks than when I saw it last year. I love your painted desk and all of your fun little desk toppers too. I'm trying not to be jealous of your ribbon shelf.

Oh Teresa!! I just want to pop on over, make us a cuppa joe and a cinnamon roll, and go into that studio and sprinkle some glitter! What a wonderful space...and I'm sooooo relieved there are messy shelves you aren't showing. haha I have been in my studio today thinking, "Good grief, girl, this place is a disaster zone!" I can't start one more project until I get the mess cleaned up. Sheesh.

So you make memory jars? Cool!
Like what you did with the ribbon. Mine is all in a bin right now. Not so nice. I am anxious to make a work space in our new home! I may have to steal some of your ideas!
Happy Father's Day!
God bless.
