"Mom, I feel bad for Drake."
"Why's that, bud?"
"Well, I'm afraid people at school are going to make fun of him when they see him in his giant whoopie cushion costume. I think they will laugh at him."
awww...love that guy.
Today, the scarriest day of the year, I challenge you to declare your own personal Halloween.
Do something today that scares you.
Go for it.
Reach, stretch yourself....
in efforts to overcome something. Take a peek under the bed and see what's under there and tidy it up...tell your neighbor to turn down the stereo (something you've been wanting to do for a long time but have been afraid to)...get that funny sound your car is making checked out...avoiding it won't make it go away...you get the idea. Just do it!
For me--I am going to take a deep breath and pull out that big creepy (dead) spider that's been in my t-shirt drawer for about a year now. Eeeew! I don't even open that drawer anymore--the spider creeps me out too much. And also hostessing a first grade Halloween party. Testing my patience levels is plenty scarry.
Wow, what an awesome challenge. I'm in a total funk today (and have been all weekend), so this is probably a good challenge for me. Hmm, I need to think about what I want to do.
