Art Is...You, Petaluma

If you love art retreats as much as I do, I invite you to check out Art is...You. I'm delighted to say that I'll be Guest Speaking at Art is...You Event in Petaluma, California this Fall. Getting together with like minded spirits and creating is one of the best thing you can do for yourself!

 

This looks like such a FUN Event, so much to see and do there, Sonoma County! Wine country! They also have some fun planned with Halloween & Vine...the perfect kick off to Fall! There are so many great things planned and there will be so many instructors and artists I'm really looking forward to meeting.

This is going to be such a great Event! I'm honored to be speaking at Art is...You! I'll be teaching a couple of workshops (more on that soon).

Busy hands

The Party of Five Collage at The Art Mill was so  oo nice on Saturday.   

 

Minds were focused and hands were busy...

 

 

 

 Everyone was all shy but wanted a group canvas shot.

 

Then the smiles came out and we got this:

 

Omaha girls are so creative and so sweet! It was a fabulous workshop! Thanks to all those girls who joined me. You guys were so great!!

One thing that hit me when I was editing these photos was how great the light was in The Art Mill Studio. So much natural light! I wonder if that was planned when she sought out her studio location? I hope to teach another workshop there again. Their July calendar up, and I see a couple of classes I'd love to take. Definitely going to work one or two in my schedule.

The rest of my weekend was all about A Journal of Interest E-Zine prep. I mentione d somewhere that this E-Zine was going to be "amped up" and that involves lots of effort of course. I welcome the challenge!
