We celebrated our son's birthday yesterday. Hard to believe he is 17 now, where does the time go? Sigh.
I spent some time in the kitchen (the perfect place on a cold Winter day) baking him a cake. A few weeks ago I saw this tempting recipe on Alicia's blog and knew it would be perfect for my raspberry chocolate cake lovin' birthday guy. I was right, he loved it. We all did!
I know it looks like a lot of frosting, but it was really light so it wasn't...really. The cake was oh so moist and not too sweet. Just great. I'll make it again. Thanks, Alicia, for the recipe!
