I'd like to say that's my exercise program. And it'd be a pretty good one. I'm not talking physical exercise though, I'm talking creative exercise. Because I carve out a niche of time on weekdays to work on freehand embroidery.

I must say that seeing my friend, Rebecca's sampler last summer inspired me. A lot! Her embroidery is far more advanced than mine, and her samplers. Mine are filled with more journaling and quotes than beautiful stitches. I only have the patience for about 3 styles/variations!
Maybe you remember seeing Pam's great samplers, too. She's got some adorable ones she worked on over the Christmas season!
Here's a few close ups of what can happen in my 20 minutes...little by little..

The backside looks sorta like a foreign language. In a strange way I like it.

This is a close up of the one I'm working on now. It's about 75% finished and I'm limiting myself to 20 minutes, 5 days a week.

I want to work on it more, this is also an exercise in patience for me.
It seems like I am always tweeting (lower left sidebar) that I am stitching...and thought those Twitter peeps were probably beginning to wonder what I was stitching!
Anyone else stitching samplers? I'd love to see them!
