Weekend highlights.
3:30: A small stream of light across my studio table. The ray of emphasis found this on my desk this weekend.
I always look forward to seeing what the sun chooses to spotlight after I've been working down there. Like it's a sign from above or something.
7:30: We had the best weekend. Went downtown for dinner with 2 of our favorite couples. We only do that a few times a year - so it's always a treat! It was the perfect night to be on the river.
After that we meandered around The Old Market.The 6 of us laughed and laughed and laughed until we cried. Aren't good friends the best?
There is a new riverwalk/footbridge we got to check out. Now people can walk across the Missouri River!! Lights are going on it soon and then it will be open for "walking". Those of you coming in for Silver Bella could walk across it for sure. It's very close to the hotel and the airport. This was our view at dinner...you can see the riverwalk in the background. Omaha is excited about our ever expanding downtown!
9:30: A view of the 3 guys being just way too silly and not even close to "Sturgis material". But they sported doo-rags (sp?) and we let them pretend.
Pitiful, right? Plaid bermuda shorts, polos and doo rags.
