Here's my doorstep this afternoon. Snow day today, first one of the season. We've been nestled inside...well, scratch that. I have been nestled inside, the boys enter the winter wonderland with great gusto, making tracks all over the white blanketed neighborhood.
The local Bella's and I got together Sunday for fun and a heartful Cookie and Ornament Swap, hostessed by the darling Jessi. It was so nice to get together to martini and mingle! Of course, I forgot my camera. And of course I have no pix of the yummy cookies I came home with. And of course have a few crumbs here and there, and a quickly dwindling stack of cookies!
I did get a couple lovely ornaments; the cameo on on the left from new friend, Maggie, and the vintage bottle ornie in the middle made by my old pal Elizabeth! The cutie on the right is from Jessi. Such treasures! Jessi took great photos of our afternoon:here.
Oh, this came in the mail today. What a sweetheart and Bella that Maija is. Love it, thank you sweetie!
And a quick update to show you my town. Last week's mall shooting tragedy is still painful. Our town is covered in snow and the doors of the department store are covered in snowflakes. A memorium to the victims and their families. It's really beautiful.
